12 Dates of Christmas
Overall Rating: 5 Golden Rings
Worth watching: Yes, yes, and once more yes.
Chemistry: It’s everything I wanted and more.
Smooch Quality: Fine. Cold December Night by Michael Buble plays in the background, and good background music can make any smooch better.
Plot According to Julie: After uptight Kate hits her head during a mishap at the mall on Christmas Eve, she finds herself reliving the same day over and over…12 times to be exact. Is getting a chance to re-do a blind date, an awkward conversation with her ex, and a tense dinner with her family exactly the gift she needs this year?
Review: I must admit, I’m a sucker for a good Groundhog’s Day-esque movie because I love to see how characters make adjustments to ultimately achieve their ideal outcome. Ending in the arms of Mark-Paul Gosselaar would undoubtedly by my ideal outcome, so girl I GET IT. This was one of the early Hallmark-style love stories that we are familiar with nowadays, and I love how every character has their own story and chance to shine.
