Dear Christmas

Overall Rating: 2.5 Golden Rings

Worth watching?: No - It was a bit of an awkward attempt at a COVID friendly Christmas film

Chemistry: 2 / 10

Smooch Quality: Poor - Negatively impacted by plastic surgery (I’m sorry MJH I love you so much)

Plot According to Julie: Podcaster returns to hometown for the Holidays and starts to date an old classmate.

Review: The male protagonist's name is Chris Massey - literally Christmasy. The movie had potential, but overall fell flat due to COVID rewrites. If the characters had the chance to gaze at each other wistfully across the room or even be interrupted during a moment of romantic tension, it would have increased the chemistry score. It was written by a couple from Syracuse which is cool (mentions Glazed and Confused), but I felt nothing when the characters temporarily separated, which is all you really need to know.
