Falling for Christmas
Overall Rating: 4 Golden Rings (it would have been 3.5, but the blooper reel at the end bumped it up).
Worth watching: Yes, even if it’s just to celebrate Lindsay’s return.
Chemistry: Despite a few cute scenes, both actors left me wanting more.
Smooch Quality: Fine. One of those lock and holds I just can’t get down with.
Plot According to Julie: Hotel heiress Lindsay Lohan suffers from amnesia after a proposal gone-wrong with her hoity-toity influencer boyfriend. She is rescued by a local inn keeper that offers her a place to stay while she tries to regain memory of who she is, but as she starts falling for him and his family will she want to go back to her life of luxury?
Review: Wow. So many thoughts. First of all, love that they do a little ode to Mean Girls when they are driving and Lindsay starts singing Jingle Bell Rock. I will say that they missed an opportunity to have a duet between Lindsay and Chord because they both know how to sing. Not many people know this about me, but It’s a Wonderful Life is my favorite movie of all time, and this movie definitely draws inspiration from the famous ending when they are raising money to save the inn. It didn’t quite pull on my heartstrings as much as I thought it would, but I would watch again.
