Mistletoe and Menorahs

Overall Rating: 4 Golden Rings

Worth watching: Yes! The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because some of the writing makes you scratch your head, but it is a cute and somewhat unique take on the classic holiday movie story line.

Chemistry: Compelling. Jake Epstein is such a likable cutie.

Smooch Quality: Cute

Plot According to Julie: In an attempt to secure a promotion at work, Christmas enthusiast Christy accidentally misleads her potential big client into thinking she is a Hanukkah expert. In an attempt to learn as much as she can before the big holiday party, her friend introduces her to her son’s Jewish teacher who, coincidentally, is trying to learn more about Christmas traditions to impress his girlfriend’s family. As they learn more about their respective traditions, they also get to know more about each other. The candles on the menorah might not be the only flame in this movie!

Review: What I like the most about this movie is that the chemistry builds at the perfect pace. We also love a good enemies to lovers trope, so this really won me over.
