Chemistry: Lackluster

Smooch Quality: I cannot believe I’m saying this, but there was a CUT in the middle of the smooch! They kiss on the street when two people are behind them, and then all of a sudden there is an abrupt cut and the people are gone! During the KEY moment in the movie? I couldn’t believe it. But I will say the follow-up smooch was super cute.

Plot According to Julie: Fresh off of an unexpected break-up, Mayim Bialik decides to head from LA to Connecticut to spend the Holidays with her family. At the airport, she makes a Hail Mary Christmas Wish to a Salvation Army Santa, and conveniently bumps into a handsome businessman heading back after traveling for work. When their flight is grounded in Montana due to an unforeseen storm these two are forced to work together to try to get back home, but will their plans be further delayed by an unforeseen romance?

Review: The only word I can think to describe the quality of this movie is….sloppy. First we have the abrupt cut right in the middle of the kiss, but there was also a scene in an airport where an announcement came over the intercom and it was MAYIM BIALIK’s VOICE! Like, you could have had anyone else do that voice over and you decide to use the STAR OF THE MOVIE? And you think we wouldn’t notice? Sloppy.
